Mission

Cities around the world are facing coinciding drivers of change relating to rapid urbanization, climate change, technological advancements and political polarization. All of these disrupt our understanding of public goods and services, and how we collectively govern them.

Each city faces different sets of vulnerabilities and opportunities. Leadership from the public sector, civil society and business is required to foresee and respond to these. How we work together within these uncertain futures is key to how we can continue to improve quality of life. I am driven by ideas of a future that is created through distributed problem-solving and new forms of accountability, where the relentless efforts of the “city” create a “City” that works for them.

I have experience working on a range of urban development and governance projects and transitions. I have designed, managed and supported both formal projects and informal collaborations that brought together role players, resources and interests from across society to implement change. This experience helps me to support you to improve your understanding of development implementation challenges and to develop responsive strategies and structures that ensure we are creating public value collectively.

I am interested in working with people who acknowledge that systemic change is needed, who want to push the boundaries of alternative service delivery models, and who want to bring the best of what digital, political, governance and resilience trends have to offer to create cities that are ready for the challenges of the future, and kinder to people and planet.
